The First Taste, On the Vines
Rico Wines are created by an obstinate and passionate focus on quality and attention to detail in all aspects of the winemaking process. This permits the wine and the vineyard to express their true potential.

The Harvest
The grapes will be processed in a cooling room. We have controlled cellars with modern resources like temperature-controlled tanks and bottling lines. This ensures that the quality stays uncompromised throughout the process of winemaking.

The Transfer
Wine is prepared in separate tanks according to distinct types of grape and soil plots from which the grape originated to respect each terroir’s specificity.

The Press
Whole-bunch pressing technique to preserve the freshness and maintain the softness of the wine. This captures the essence of the fruit from the vineyard.

The Fermentation
Rico works with large capacity automotive fermenters being operated by technically sound people specialized with the respective skill set.

The Clarification
Meticulous grape selection on sorting tables: we remove all the leaves, unripe and unwanted berries that give greenish and unpleasant aromas.

The Bottling
equipment and containers are imported, primarily from Italy, recognized as one of the finest stainless steel cellar equipment producers.
